2004 headlight on 2007

Hi all..
Sorry if this is a repeated subject.. I remember seeing something similar but couldn't find it..

So few weeks ago a car broke my driver headlight while the car was outside home..

I already have a good used headlights which I bought few years ago just in case..

The problem is that the headlights are for 2004 and mine is 2007.. so what do I need to do?
Can I just use my 2007 sockets and bulbs etc (which is all working)... And use the 2004 headlight just as a housing and a lens?

Maybe you could use the 04 housing with some modifications to fit the 07 electronics? The difference is the 07 has headlights that turn with the steering. The 04 doesn’t.
