Hey everyone,
We’re offering a 2004 Cadillac XLR Roadster finished in Crimson Red over Shale interior, with ~25,600 original miles and documented Cadillac dealer service history from new through 2024.
This is one of the more desirable color combinations on these cars and presents very well overall.
⸻
Highlights:
• ~25,600 original miles
• Crimson Red exterior over Shale interior
• One-owner vehicle
• Clean, well-kept example
• Power retractable hardtop functioning properly
• No suspension or warning messages
⸻
Ownership / History:
This vehicle was originally purchased new at our dealership (formerly Callaremi Cadillac, now Johnson Cadillac GMC) and has been serviced here throughout its life.
We are familiar with the previous owner, who owned multiple vehicles and used this XLR as a low-use, garage-kept weekend car.
Per the previous owner, the vehicle was always stored indoors and not driven in adverse weather, which aligns with both its condition and service history.
⸻
Documented Cadillac Service History (Mileage-Based):
• 17,070 miles (2012) – Rear shocks replaced
• 20,594 miles (2015) – Front Magnetic Ride Control shocks replaced
• ~20k miles (2015) – Major engine reseal (oil pan, valve covers, gaskets, etc.)
• ~20k miles (2015) – Convertible top system serviced/relearned + electrical connections addressed
• 20,714 miles (2015) – Cargo cover switch repair
• 23,303 miles (2016) – Driver door switch replaced
• 23,696 miles (2016) – Trunk release diagnosis/service
• 24,137 miles (2017) – New key fobs programmed
• 24,459 miles (2018) – Power outlet fuse repair
• 24,522 miles (2018) – Oil service + inspection
• 25,142 miles (2019) – Oil service + inspection
• 25,481 – 25,491 miles (2021) – Oil service, inspection, minor noise concern addressed
• 25,661 miles (2024) – Oil & filter change, tire rotation, inspection, key fob batteries replaced
⸻
Why this one stands out:
As most of you know, the primary concerns on these cars are:
• Magnetic Ride Control
• Oil leaks
• Convertible top / electrical systems
On this example, those items were:
✔ Addressed early
✔ Serviced consistently through Cadillac
✔ Maintained despite low usage
This is not a car that sat neglected — it has been consistently maintained over time, which is exactly what you want to see on a low-mile XLR.
⸻
The car starts, runs, and drives exactly as it should, and everything functions properly.
I also have a full Carfax report saved as a PDF and can email or send it to anyone interested.
Feel free to reach out with any questions — happy to provide additional info, photos, or walkaround videos. I did have some difficulty uploading photos on the forum, so only a few are shown here, but I have an extensive amount of additional pictures available and can send anything you’d like.
