ABS Module for 2006 XLR-V (15855367 / 15855368)

Does anyone know where I can find an ABS module for the 2006 XLR-V? It's ASM part number 15855367 and ECU part number 15855368. The ones I saw on ebay don't match or are for the regular XLR.

My car was plugged into a trickle charger and lightning struck the house, causing the systems in the car to Christmas tree like crazy. My mechanic said it needs a new ABS module (after replacing the wheel speed sensors already) but can't find one.

Looks like the electrical part is part number

(89060341) and fits all xlr including v 05-08 and some corvettes.the pump part (89060303) shows to also fit 05-08 and some vettes​

Thanks! It cleared the code but my ECU/ECM broke so I needed to replace that. I heard the ECU/ECM needs to be reprogrammed.

Do you or anyone else know if the ABS module needs to be reprogrammed to the car's VIN?

I dont believe so. Ive not replaced one

The service procedure for replacing EBCM calls for programming using SPS, unfortunately. Apparently this calls for both a Tech2 and a TIS terminal.

Are you sure? Ive looked but did not find that. Ive repaired several but tgey went back on tbe same car. Ive known a few people that replaced but none ever said they had to have them vin coded.

Ive run across a few items like this before. The gm procedure is for a new one. It woukd have to be coded to the car. A used one sometimes that hase been installed with a vin will work in another car. Im not sure about this abs module.. But it is why a repair that allows it to be reinstalled might be cheaper. I have heard of these being repsired successfully

Ah, yep, I bet that’s the case. The official procedure assumes a brand new greenfield module; while one that’s already programmed may work. I can’t imagine the EBCM really needs to be VIN specific.
