While cruising today with the Adaptive Cruise Control engaged, a vehicle cut in front of me and my ACC immediately slowed the car, - with Brake assist it seemed.

When this happens do the Brakelights illuminate? At the same time a person cut in behind me (all at 75 mph) and I certainly hope he had the advantage of seeing Brake Lights on my vehicle.

Has anyone tried with someone following, to find out if the Brake Lights do come on if suddenly there was a slower moving vehicle in front of you and the ACC had to slow the car immediately?

Gord.

Yes. The brake lights engages when the ACC kicks in. I used to wonder about that myself until I notice the reflection on the road, hwy (or from objects near by) at night.
