Airbag light

Hi everybody! 2005 base model! Airbag light on dashboard staying on! Any idea? Thanks Ken

Have a mechanic scan for DTC codes, that should narrow it down. Search on this site, there is also a TSB for a loose connector in the steering column on ‘04s and ‘05s, not sure if that has that has an effect or not, but a known issue.

also the seat has a connector that comes unplugged and sets a code for the side airbag. not sure if 05 is one of the years but they did have a recall.

The problem could be a pinched wire, a pin in the connector that do not makes proper contact.

After so many year of the seat positions adjustements.... it could be that the yellow connector is also not properly secured.

Make a search on this site or on google with the same question, you could find your problem solved as there could be a service bulletin made for this problem.
