Car Show Today

At the urging of a friend of mine, went to a car show today at West Oaks Mall. He insisted that I bring the X. So I washed and detailed the car yesterday and wife and me drove up there this morning. Took couple of towels, detailing spray, window cleaner in the new Cadillac duffels along with a small Yeti cooler and a couple of chairs. Lot of really great looking cars, numerous Corvette variants and old muscle cars, but only one XLR; mine. Had some great comments about it, several stopping to find out more about the XLR, and while getting ready to leave/packing up met another XLR owner that was just there looking as he had parked outside the show lot. He's supposed to be a member here so if he sees this, maybe he can drop in on the conversation.

You'll probably find that you will be the only XLR at most car shows. People will have lots of questions about it too.

I have two friends in town that own XLRs, one is a member here. I took my GTO to my favorite local car show last June and both of my friends brought their XLRs to the show. The show is a fund-raiser for the church and I had asked both to attend. Both own black XLRs and after they arrived, I couldn't stand it and went back home to get Crimson Pearl!

I'm sure you are going to really enjoy taking your XLR to many shows and cruise-ins this year!
