Taking some time off. Toured the BG Assembly Plant and the Corvette Museum. The Assembly Plant tour was fantastic. I thought I would post some pictures of the damaged 'Vettes 4 of which they are not going to restore. The 1962 will get restored this year. The Blue Corvette and the White 1,000,000th Corvette were fully restored by Chevrolet.

I don't think the pictures do justice to the amount of damage these cars sustained. The 2001 Spyder and the 2001 700 Hp (can't remember the name of the family that lent it) are a mangled mess.

The Assembly Plant tour was way cool, finished up the day at the Jim Beam distillery. 3 more on the Bourbon Trail tomorrow.

Neat that they set up the lift just the way it was before the cave-in -- I know because Mike & I spent a LONGGG time at that lift while he studied it :)sleeping: for me) -- & then I told him thank goodness the cave-in didn't happen while he was obsessing over the lift.

You pictures do enough justice to the smashe cars as they look like pancakes. And great justice to your XLR as it looks great! :thumbsup
