Engine light came on everything is working properly does anybody know what it might be

You really have to read the codes, could be hundreds of things. Some auto parts stores will read them for free.

Could be something as simple as a gas cap not on 'tight' or a bad gas cap..

Cheap fix if that is your problem? May also be something more expensive.....

Buy you a code reader and read the codes yourself. It is very simple and maybe something you can fix. You can get a good code reader for 30 to 50 dollars or as much as you want to pay. Everyone should have one in their toolbox. I have helped a lot of friends with mine. Small simple things. As always, could be something big but at least you would know. Buy one, you will be glad you did.

JW,,, nearly a month ago you asked for opinions on the above Assume you have had the issue addressed by now, but hoping

you could bring us up to date on 'what the issue was AND the fix'. Down the road your answer may help another owner....
