2006 Black XLR/V
Just bought at auction a 2006 V w/ 200k mi. Everything seems to work and has been checked out by my mechanic. I figure if I can get a good year's worth of fun, it will be worth it. Have been looking for a Vet but have had my eye on these for a long time. Even the auctioneer said "I don't know how much it's worth, somebody give me a bid" It was sold the first day of auction as it went for more than I was willing to pay, then returned (probably due to mileage) and up again the next day so I was destine to own it. Just crossing my fingers with such high mileage. Looking forward to fun in the sun. 1. question right off, Is there a spare tire?

No spare tire

No spare tire, that's why they were originally equipped with run-flat tires.

Some folks have replaced them with run-flats (I have) and some have not.

Some here trust in other options such as AAA Road Service, tire plugs, slime and 12 vdc air compressors.

spare tire

the spare tire is in your other car or truck that someone can bring to you with a jack and a lug wrench. haha
