Just purchased!

I just purchased a black on black 2008 XLR. I've wanted one of these cars for so long! I'm so excited. I live in Oregon and the car is in Phoenix so I fly down on Friday to get it and then get to have an awesome drive home while getting to know the car.

I've already been all over this site and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I'm sure I will use it a lot. It's great seeing so many XLR owners helping each other out and providing tips and tricks. Thanks everyone.

Congrats and welcome. Great color combo. The Black on Black not only looks the best but they are faster than any of the other XLR's. Enjoy your trip home, sounds like a great trip in a great car.

Welcome aboard! Although don't let Nerkpowers mislead you on which color is fastest (red is the right answer). BUT, the angles on XLR's do look really sharp covered in black! Enjoy your ride!

I have to say I think black is the best color! It has right around 45,000 miles. The ride home was so much fun. The only negative thing I discovered is that the heated steering wheel doesn't work so I'll have to go to the stealership and see what it will take to fix it. Other than that everything is great!!
