PCV valve leaking

I have a 2009 xlr-v. I have been told by mechanics at the Cadillace dealer that my PCV valve is leaking, but the part has been discontinued so they cannot fix it. It causes my check engine light to come on intermittently. The car runs great. Has anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions to fix it?
