Hi;
I'm new to the XLR and it's climate control system. I have a question about it that I could not find an answer for in the manual. Keep in mind that my car is set to Metric so my temps are in C rather than F, but that should not make a difference. My car is an 05.
When the system is set to Auto I see something like 22*C on the display. The hard part of the question is going to be typing this so you understand but here goes. My display (for example) shows 22*C except that right under the "C", vertically aligned there is another letter. That letter is either an "S" or an "O". If for example the display is showing 22*CO (remember the O is vertically under the C) and I push the toggle up button, the temperature setting does not change to 23*C but rather the O changes to an S and I see 22*CS on the display. If I push the toggle up one more time it changes to 23*CO. Push it up once more and I get 23*CS etc etc.
So the question is, what do the "S" and the "O" stand for, and why is it there? It's annoying having to hit the toggle up (or down) twice every time to increase (or decrease) the temperature 1 degree.
I just know this if going to be an obvious answer, so try not to embarrass too much :dunno:

probably equates to 22.0 22.5 23.0 23.5 etc
like 1/2 degree increments

OMG....they're numbers not letters :pat: That makes sense as Celcius degrees are nearly double Fahrenheit degrees so logically, it should go up in 1/2 degree increments. Thanks LexToy for pointing out what should have been obvious!!

After looking through the 4 Volumes (over 800 pages) I went into the garage and looked at my display.
If you look carefully there is a small decimal point after the first 2 larger numbers. They are indeed a .0°and .5°C indicators after those numbers.
