I am a new owner of a 2006 xlr today the reading lights will not turn off at switch at mirror stay on 10 minutes then turn off. any body can you help me owe owners manual not in car

Depress the switch on the the dash (right side) The symbol is a dome with ray lines.

Been there

l did the same thing. Light on and l'm pushing buttons trying to get the light off and next thing l know Onstar is asking what they can do for me. l didn't even know the car had Onstar. Most embarrassing.
