Heard some wind noise coming from the right side of the windshield / roofline. Upon investigation I saw a bit if delamination. Shot an email to socialmedia@gm.com. We'll see what comes of that. Also posted on FB asking for a local body shop that does fiberglass work. Any DIY recommendations?

Gm has already ruled on this problem and are not doing anything to help. if you just do a quick search. you can find all the information. If you bought the car new and spent a lot of money at the dealership on it they may contribute a few dollars towards their dealership doing the 3-4000$ repair. The proper material used for adhesive is really not a do it your self and to do it properly the top needs to be removed and the framework etched with the proper adhesive installed. That pretty much requires the complete outer skin be removed which comes off easy sometimes and breaks other times. Due to the liability of it flying off and hitting someone and no support from GM be careful who you use to try and repair it. Best bet as has been stated is to find an 06-09 top and have it installed. I have not seen any failures in those year tops on even black cars in Florida that have been reported. Or you can buy some silicone spread it in the crack and cross your fingers that the roof does not blow off.
