Stuck in Park

I have a 09 V and it is stuck in park. Looking for direction.

does the shifter move just the car does not change gears? most likely a bad cable. You can research and see they make a very good kit to repair it for about 30$ or you can buy a 200 used cable that will fail about the time you get in installed . If it failed at the rear the new bushing kit is not that hard to install. take it to a transmission shop to repair not the dealer and save 4-500$ they are familiar with this repair you can manually take the car out of gear from under the back if you are going to have it towed

I was able to get it out of park and get it out of the garage. But now if I wanna put it in park wow the car still running it won’t get back out of park unless I turn it off and then it will come back at a park again. At least I can now can get it to the mechanic shop

so you did not answer if the shifter moves or you are having problem with the shifter itself. That will require a new lock out switch or could just be the brake switch that shows the shifter you have the brake on. a couple thousand and I am sure the dealer will find something.
