On my base `06 I`ve notice how the top of the radiator support distorts the rubber inlet to the throttle body, almost by half. Its not a straight shot for the air to enter the throttle body because of the plastic covering the top of the radiator. I was wondering if there would any avantage to a more straight, more open entrance to the throttle body by changing the top of the support piece. Any opinons ? I`ve thought about cutting the center of the support top piece out and bolting in a piece of aluminum to connect the two sides together to give more clearance for the inlet to the throttle. Would I gain anything? If you look at your air intake and how it is bent going to the throttle body you will see what I`m talking about.:dunno:
