water pump for supercharger

I have a 2007 xlr-v 93,000 miles. does the water pump run all the time the engine is on or just when the super charger is being used?

As soon as the engine is running, the water pump, the alternator, the servo pump and the supercharger also run. Only the air conditioning compressor can be switched off or on.
