Ok, got home today and was asked to bring the car to a local car shows that all cash and donations go to the Childeen's Hospital in Little Rock Arkansas. My question is for you guys that go to shows, does it hurt to put the top down in the halfway position and leave it that way for the show? Where the truck is up and the top is stowed or should it be only in fully open or fully up position?

Thanks, that answers that. .. Thanks for the advice.

Last year I entered our XLR in a show. 2000-2009 division. I beat out about 20 Corvettes and won first in the division. I think it was because it is such a unique car that got a lot of attention. Out of 3 big car shows I entered last year, I won first in the division twice. If you start doing it, you'll get hooked

Car shows are not a new thing for me, I have several older cars and make at least 30 or more shows every season. The guy who ask me to bring the XLR puts on a local show here in our small town and gives all money made to the Children's hospital in Little Rock Arkansas. I usually take 3 or 4 up there to support the kids. It is addictive because I have been doing it now for about 25 years... LOL Can beat the friends you find that are car people. .
