Yes, but the XCR is still much cooler to drive. I don't see anyone in a parking lot stopping either a BMW or Blackwing to talk to the owner about their car. I have been constantly stopped and asked about my car. Most think it is brand new. They are surprised to hear they quit making it years ago.

Agreed, Each drive includes at least one person asking about the car.
Never happened in my long list of other cars...
When I purchased mine, the Seller said "Oh, be prepared to be approached a lot".
I laughed, little did I know.

Thanks for posting that James. Entertaining and amusing video.

Among other aspects of an internal combustion engine, few things are better than sending a message with your exhaust note. I’ll miss that when EV’s get crammed down our throats and take over.

As a follow up, that video discusses Cadillac not knowing what it wants to be (like that’s new!). Husband took out our V for a run yesterday and said it “is such a beautiful work of art. I will never understand why Cadillac crapped all over it and the program.” Again, because Cadillac DOES NOT KNOW WHAT IT WANTS TO BE when it grows up.
I miss new XLR’s and don’t want a mid-engine repeat …
