Can't find how many "v"'s were made in 2008.... and in the entire production run by year. Anybody know where to find that info?

Did you try under the Tech Center tab on here?
2008: Cadillac XLR Net | Tech Center | 2008 Cadillac XLR and XLR-V Tech Center | 2008 Cadillac XLR and XLR-V Production Numbers
All years except '09 (need to go to the '09 tab under Tech Center for that info): Cadillac XLR Net | Tech Center | Cadillac XLR Production Number Summary
If I remember right total V production is under 2,000.
