My XLR/V(s)
2006 black xlr v
Looking to replace original tires on 06 XLR V. debating whether to stay with original sizes or go 255/40/19 on all four wheels. looking at tire rack either continental DWS06 or Michelin Pilot. just want to make sure there were no clearance problems with the 255s on the front

Personally, I wouldn't do it. The previous owner put wider 245s on the front of mine and I have always felt like it "hopped" when doing a slow, tight turn. I'm about to put factory original-sized Pilots (also from TR) back on mine.

I put the 255 Pilot Sports on all four wheels on my V. I have had no problems.
