I guess it's a personal choice but:

Which looks better -> '07 'V' or '09 'V' ??? (& why?)

* In Black or Silver ??? (& why?)

Black because thats what all my cars are and 09 because unlike a lot of people I like the vent things on the front fender

I've never seen an '09 V in person so can't answer that one. Although I recently read they dropped the "supercharged" badging on the side for that year. I wouldn't like that.

As for colors, my general favorite car color is silver, but as between that & black on a XLR, I probably like black better. The car doesn't have enough contrasting color pieces to make silver work for me.

Of course red is the best color for any XLR anyway!

I think they all look good. but as for color i think its a toss up between xlv in black and the xlr in red
I have the red 06 and love it. there is a pic of me sittin in a 09 xlrv in the caddy showroom on my fb page. just look for FB guy dittmar and send a friend request. but after i found this sitte and the caddy site. i have been on FB less and here more

Those of you who remember "Standby's" Silver '06 "V" with a supposed 500+ HP tune, was taken by my stock Black "V." So, I guess Black "Vs" are actually faster!

For me it was the Black or the Red, I loved both looks and could have bought either. The Black was the better deal at the time, but sometimes I wish for the Red, and who knows maybe sometime in the future I will have a pair of V's in my garage. I also defintely prefer the look of the '09. Hawk

My first silver car was the 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix because it looked like a Silver Bullet going down the road, I have never seen a black bullet. I felt the same way when I bought my XLR and still feel the same.

I am not totally sure about that. Black just may be a bit harder to see in the rear view mirror...

of course, we go with our car colors...more of a matter of how easy/hard dust shows...I have had both...

Well I'm VERY disappointed... made the 6-hour trip today to pick-up the ’07-V only to be discouraged. I guess overall it looked good for a 5-year old car but it needed; tires, front brakes soon and had many stone chips. Maybe I'm unreasonable but @ $43K I expected a little more. We all know how much tires (etc.) can cost so I passed. The hunt continues.
