Yeah...someone wanted her worse than I did, and I wanted his money more than he did. I am already looking for another one to rebuild. My current project is a Jeep Commander for the winter, but I WILL be back in an XLR before long. I bid on a black '04 yesterday, but didn't get it....so...

Ok...before I delivered her to her new owner today, I took the dash facia off and took some additional pictures. I think I have the answer to the trigger questions. The TR7 trigger is hooked up in the following manner: Orange is not used Green goes to blue with small white stripe white goes...

So...while taking a nice topless drive...

I had a coming to Jesus meeting with the Dealership Service Director today (nice guy BTW) and was charged a $60 diagnostic fee vs the $237. Apparently the service writer had written down everything on the service request wrong and had the mechanic thinking I had replaced the gauge cluster and...

So...while taking a nice topless drive...

So... my saga continues... I had her towed in on Sat and spent quite a while explaining to the Service Manager what had happened and why I thought it was the fuel pump. Explained I was a bodyshop owner and asked him to please have the tech check the pressure on the fuel rail first. Well, I...

    XLR conversion: A 7-8-9 --- 57 front end, 58 mid section 59 rear end.

It's back...a couple weeks ago it was out there for $100k and no bidders. There was a thread on here that got a bit humorous concerning that particular "custom."

Just bought 04 XLR, not too happy. Swerves all over the lane trying to go straight. Any ideas???

When I first bought mine, the front wandered all over the road especially on the interstate with wallowed out lanes. I had a four wheel alignment performed and replaced the front tires. She now tracks beautifully on any road condition.

So...while taking a nice topless drive...

Oh no...I don't let her out of my sight without putting the top back up. I had the top up before going to get gas with the Ranger.

So...while taking a nice topless drive...

I will know soon...had her towed to the dealership today. Fortunately they have a couple certified XLR mechanics and perform service on quite a few so are very familiar with them. I will keep everyone posted on the outcome... :dunno:

So...while taking a nice topless drive...

...decided to take a nice drive through the State Park on my way home. Well, the DTC lied I did not have 43 miles to empty....and I ran out of gas halfway through my nice drive. A State Ranger was nice and got a gas can and took me to a station outside the Park where I got 4 gallons of gas...

...so I removed my trunk lid cover today...

....replacing passenger side airbag and cover. My Blue Beastie was a labor of love. I rebuilt her after the PO allowed her to kiss some other vehicle in the ass and then gave her up for salvage. I've got a full rebuild thread on here...
