My 2004 XLR must have a short in battery system. Over night the battery will drain down. It's a new battery. How might I go about finding the short to ground? Thanks, Ed

Help! Battery dead and useless after 19 months

2004 XLR with dead battery O5 Grand Daddy. Thanks for the info. I corrected my post. I had paid Cadillac $280. I was under the view that if I changed the battery I would lose the codes. I now realize that belief is incorrect. If it was correct no firm could supply XRLs with a battery. Also...

Help! Battery dead and useless after 19 months

A few weeks ago I couldn't enter my 2004. I used key in rear bumper slot. Got deck lid raised. Pulled cable and door opened. Opened the hood. Ran slow charger on battery for several hours. Charger had turned itself off. Put a different charge on battery. Also a no go. a third charger was...

Dash read "service ride control" and "car will not exceed 80 mph". However, the warnings have gone away. Suspect they'll return. Am attempting to determine the GM stock numbers for 2011-13 Corvette front and rear shocks. Prefer to use OEM rather than Bilsteins. Thanks, ejw71 PS Might those...

Help! Part numbers for AC Delco shocks for 2011-2013 Corvette

As I've mentioned before my 2004 XLR has leaking mag shocks. I'm not going to pay Cadillac $4500 plus to replace them. I have the part numbers for the Bilstein replacements used on 2011-13 Corvettes. I also want to check out the AC Delco shocks used on 2011-13 Corvettes. How do I get the...
