Probably a bit of a silly question, although I'm new to electrical diag. Troubleshooting an intermittent "Service Stabilitrak" with codes U2100, U2107, and U1096.
The diag trees have me following U2107, then U2100, then U1096, it would appear. U2107 starts me with using the Tech2 to check if the Run/Crank Relay Command is on or off (found in BCM Data Display menu). I'm good so far. Subsequent steps have me test "the class 2 serial data circuit of the BCM for an open." I can follow the electrical and component connector diagrams, see I'm looking at pin 55 of BCM harness C1.
The question: for conducting this test, am I using the Ohms setting of my multimeter? Connect positive probe to pin 55 of the C1 connector, and negative probe to good ground?
