    Front Plate Bracket

I was thinking of removing the front plate bracket and installing a flip down bracket which folds and slides out of sight under the front bumper. Has anyone ever installed one? The bracket kit is shown on the link below. http://www.corvetteguys.com/corvette-flip-down-holder.html

    Front Plate Bracket

Is there anything available to plug up the holes, that would be left in the front bumper, after I remove the license plate bracket? I realize that anything I use would have to be painted to match the car.

    Drilled & Slotted Rotors

A friend who restores and paints classic cars did the work. He sand blasted, primed and painted the calipers with a high gloss high temperature black paint. Did not recommend powder coating because it can chip. I purchased all the brake parts and had them delivered to his shop. The rotors, pads...

    Drilled & Slotted Rotors

Baur rotors, EBC ceramic pads, Goodridge stainless steel brake lines and black calipers. Brakes are firm, responsive and most of all no more squealing!

    Help! HEADLIGHT WASHER COVER

Also had the same problem. Plain old "crazy glue" worked fine.

How well does the wind restrictor work?

All screens made of plastic must cause reflections and also limit rear visibility. The mesh screen on my Audi is not a problem.

How well does the wind restrictor work?

Bought the $125 wind screen made of plastic and I got what I paid for. It looks cheap on the car and there are distracting reflections off of it, both day and night, that I see in my center rearview mirror. Mesh is the way to go. :pat:

    Mesh Grille Technical Impacts

I'm interested in changing the upper grille only on my 2006. Did you order the grille yourself or from the dealer? Also , is it a do-it - self job? Thanks:)

    Help! GPS system

    Goodbye

Serves as a Somers Historical Museum and a Town Hall. So it' put to good use. It just received a face lift, paint, etc. My XLR is also a joy to drive. Especially with the top down on our northern county roads.

Yes, you're right. I had them removed and painted a high gloss black last month.:)

    Brake pulsing

I think I'm going to go with Baer Decelarotors and EBC Redstuff pads.. They're a little high end but if I'm going to do the work I want it to be an upgrade and not a downgrade from the original equipment. Rotors, pads and ss lines total about $750.00.

    Brake pulsing

Shopping for drilled & slotted rotors is very confusing. They seem to range from about $100 to $500 each. What brand did you buy?

What brand rotors and pads did you buy? I have been looking online for new drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads.

    Brake pulsing

I noticed on the TireRack website that ceramic brake pads don't have as good of a "stopping power" rating as composite pads. Did you guys, with the ceramic pads, notice any decrease in brake performance?
