I picked up the toyota/lexus nav/dvd and it doesn't work in my 04. I don't know if it can be done, but, has anybody tried copying the map and poi files ( whichever they may be) and needed files on the oem dvd and burning them on a dbl sided dvd? Just asking.

PITA Sorry, as I'm reading, I'm thinking. Speaker leads from the new radio, do you know if they used the regular leads or the low level leads. Reason being, I'm assuming you still use the stock audio amp. Too much power from the new unit would probably blow out the amp.
