    Transmission shift cable

I replaced one of those cradles on a customers XLR. They are made of aluminum and require the removal of the front bumper cover. Make sure they replace it, not repair. And while the body shop has everything apart get some LED turn signal and running light bulbs for your headlights and ask them...

    XLR HOOD VENTS

Any good bodyshop can do this job. It would probably cost the same or less to add vents to your stock hood as buying a complete new hood and having it painted to match.

    Cabin Air Filter repalcement

If the filter door is behind the battery just remove the battery and pop the door off and pull out the filter. They sell the filters at any auto parts store. Most likely yours is original and should be changed.

    Question about tires

The 2009 I have has the Bridgestone drive guards on it also, they were on the car when I bought it last year. I agree that the ride quality is very good on them for a run flat. I still would have no problem running a regular tire on my XLR. I have been driving since 1985, many miles in over 30...

    XLR HOOD VENTS

It looks to me like that is a custom hood, those were added to a stock GM hood then repainted to match the car.

    3rd Brake Lights

I read this thread the other day and it made me look at every Cadillac's third brake light when I was driving around. I did not see one that had an issue. I was at a stoplight behind a 1998 STS and its LED third brakelight was still fully working.

    Help! Window stickers

You can go to any GM dealer and they can print you out the build sheet and the GM service history, which I highly recommend doing for any GM product you own. You will have to talk to service or parts, the salesmen will not have access to these things. As for a copy of the window sticker, you...

    Help! Convertible Top Troubles

You can also check the weatherstrip that they fall into. It has an internal metal support that could be bent and causing fitment issues. See if you can open up the channel on them to see if the glass will fit better. If the top has been going down and pushing the glass on the wrong spot of those...

    Help! Stability Control issues

Since you previously stated your car had a rear end collision I would dig into that repaired area and look everything over very closely to make sure all the electronics and suspension components in that area are undamaged and grounded well. Dont forget to look inside the trunk area too...

    Help! Convertible Top Troubles

The small windows do have adjustment. It is odd that they are both out of whack, leads me to believe something else in the top system is not right. I would look at all the rotational/moveable points on the top to make sure everything is good. To adjust them you have to take the interior cover...
