My 2006 XLR-V has 66,000 miles on it. The mufflers have just begun to get louder and louder. The cut-outs are operating fine. They are full open when engine off, full closed after engine started, open wide at full throttle, but when accelerating or under engine under slight load, the mufflers are louder than normal.
Anyone have have any ideas what could be causing this issue? Could it be a slight vacuum leak somewhere in the lines going to the muffler cut outs? If so, how do I check this?
