NO NO NO!!!
"Av Gas" usually refers to 100LL aviation fuel. 100LL means 100 octane, Low Lead. The lead in the fuel is needed to provide high temperature lubrication to the valves in the air cooled Lycomings, Continentals, and other aircraft engines. In an automotive engine, the lead will destroy the sensors in the exhaust system as well as the catalytic converter. The engine control system will put you in limp home mode and a huge repair bill awaits you.
Cadillac Tech can straighten out my terminology, but I would imagine that he has gone through this repair process and can give an insight as to the typical repair costs.
Works absolutely great in the chain saw, weed eater, and any other 2 stroke engine you might have at home. OK in the airplane too.
