Center console dents

I need to eliminate dents on center console metal, anyone done this and what method did you use to iron them out?

Not possible. The metal is bonded to plastic and edges are folded over the plastic. It's very flimsy and will be ruined if you try to take it off. I guess if you really wanted to try, pad the hell out of the surface and tap on the plastic underneath the dent(s)

Thanks, I found an after market one but they wanted $1,250 for it... not worth it...

Yep you can just touch it and it bends. As rex said Its bonded over a honeycomb plastic so it has voids in the plastic.an the netal is too thin. funny thing 90% of other caddys have the metal bonded to a solid piece of plastic and gets no damage.They make an aluminum milleded piece for a couple hundred on ebay to cover it.
