When I turn sharply, at low speed, there is a noise that sounds similar to a bad CV joint on a front wheel drive car. Does this sound like a bad wheel bearing?

It could be a wheel bearing. Jack it up and see if their is movement when you wiggle the tire by pulling /pushing the top of the tire. Try holding light brake pressure when turning and see if it stops or gets worse

I had a similar noise, may or may not have been the same. Make sure your axle nuts are torqued correctly, one of mine was a little loose. I also changed the differential fluid, no more clicking.
