My top quit working. I'm not hearing any sound. Could it be a simple fuse blown if so where is it located,I don't see one under the hood. Is it something more costly and serious? I'm new to the XLR but learning fast thanks to the forum.

In my experience, try indexing both windows. Make sure the divider is snapped in place in the trunk. What, if any, message is showing in the DIC?

If you're still having problems with the roof, check the fluid level. When it gets too low it shuts the system down to prevent damage to the pump. Mine did this and I thought it was a bad pump. Took it to the dealer and they filled the pump, purged air out the system and the roof was happy. Also, if the fluid is really low, you will have the expense of finding and repairing the leak. Good luck...

Your fuse compartment is under the carpet on the passenger side under upper part, under the glove box area, just flip the carpet flap back. Another thought after getting the top working you may need to have relearn done!

Hard top manual release

HELP ME PLEASE again I'm new to the XLR but I love it. My top quit working in the down position. I've read and reread the instructions on how to raise manually but still no luck. I finally found and removed the headliner plug and turned the wrench 1/4 turn as instructed, still it will not release. All I'm getting are scars and frustration working in such a tight area,I have large arms. Why won't it release? My local dealer is booked 3 weeks out and will not help over the phone they want money . Whatever happened to common courtesy. Also I've checked fuses none are blown but I don't hear anything turning when I push the button. Thanks guys and ladies

Did you check your fluid level? Not seeing here whether you did or not. When mine was low it made no sound. Also, there's a mobil service called YOUR MECHANIC. I called them for a different reason but at that time is when my top was stuck in the down position. He knew how to manually bring the top up. They charge $80 to come out but it'll come off the cost of repairs.
The best of luck.
