Hi Guys i wanted to get yall's opinion on using a hydraulic stop leak additive in the convertible pump
i recently fix my non-working top and the headliner cylinder start leaking , so i replace it, and it works now
but now the stowage compartment cylinder started leaking its 400$
im going to send it to top hydraulics to get it rebuild as CCClarke suggested
As my mechanic friend told me those cylinder are old and they will start leaking one by one , but it just came to my mind using an additive to the pump like that hydro stop leak, its just a though i dont think i will ever do it becuz im scare.
so my questions will be:
*do yall think it will work ??
*have any of yall though about it and did it ??
*how it will affect the system in the long run ?? if it in case it will
*by adding that will i destroy the other cylinders and the pump ???
* what could be the consequences??
