10449651_bde_00239_pri_larg.jpgHi Guys i wanted to get yall's opinion on using a hydraulic stop leak additive in the convertible pump

i recently fix my non-working top and the headliner cylinder start leaking:mad: , so i replace it, and it works now :)

but now the stowage compartment cylinder started leaking  its 400$

im going to send it to top hydraulics to get it rebuild as CCClarke suggested:thumbsup

As my mechanic friend told me those cylinder are old and they will start leaking one by one , but it just came to my mind using an additive to the pump like that hydro stop leak, its just a though i dont think i will ever do it becuz im scare.

so my questions will be:

*do yall think it will work ??
*have any of yall though about it and did it ??
*how it will affect the system in the long run ?? if it in case it will
*by adding that will i destroy the other cylinders and the pump ???
* what could be the consequences??
