Majority off badges are held on by a 3m thin double sided tape. In my younger years we use too use a spoon. It has the perfect arch on it to double as a Prying device. Just get the tip under the badge and use like a pry bar. With the arched smooth surface it shouldn't scratch anything. Hope this helps.
