Expensive hydraulic parts -no more!

My car is very far away from home here in Finland and had problems with top. Cad dealer checked codes and told me 2 boxes are dead -3155eur! Yess! Still only 1 box for top... Checked it by myself, no problem - "only pump". Though very expensive, but found from Oregon, Top Hydraulics.Whole pump 400! (+core 300). And service is more than quick and friendly.

Very good information! I just checked them out tophydraulicsinc.com They're located in Florence, Oregon USA. You can send your pump to be rebuilt plus cylinders rebuilt and hoses. They must have a connection to the manufacturer which I think is in the Netherlands

Klaus (the Owner of Top Hydraulics) was very nice on the phone. He even asked to have my car brought in(his shop is only 40 miles away) so that all his techs could see first hand how the whole XLR system worked. He was so familiar with Mercedes Benz tops he could tell what the problem was just by providing a description over the phone. As soon as the DTC codes are known the XLR and I are headed his way.

And they sended a new one from stock for me and I will send old core back after chancing. Only 30 hours from my order, it was here in Finland -8000 km!!!!

This is starting to have the earmarks of a happy ending.

I'm blown away that a guy in Finland could come up w/ what seems to be a great shop in Oregon. Sometimes, I guess the Internet isn't just all about terrorists and porn. That shop is likely to earn a lot more XLR business, IMO. Great find!

I can confirm service and quality from Klaus/top hydraulics from when i had my 98' Mercedes sl600... I will forever be their customer for top hydraulic parts!
