Found a use for my CD slot.

Found a Magnetic phone mount that fits in the CD slot I have never used. Works great.

Whats the brand of the holder? I assume its meant to go inside cd slot?

My CD player hasn't worked in years anyway. Apparently it thinks there is a CD stuck in there (although pretty sure there never was). One time when the original dealer had to remove the cover to repair a rattle they scratched the wood finish and had to order a new one. That was when the 2007 XLR was new and parts were available. I'm not taking any chances like that now. The CD player isn't important to me, but that phone holder should be better than the one I'm using now - not block the windshield view at all.

This is the one I bought. With 2 magnets it's strong enough to hold a small tablet. Or 2 phones.

I tried one of those last year, but didn't care for it, and didn't like the stick on piece of metal for the phone. It interfered with the wireless charging on my Samsung 8+
