How does the front bumper attach?

Hi Gang,

I'm doing body work/wreck repair on the xlr-v and am concerned about the attachment points for the front bumper cover. So far I have the cover fitting into the fender slits on each side, then the bumper cover weight rests on top of the actually bumper absorber. The only other attachment points I see is the fender wells/grille attachment points. That seems a little weak/floppy. What connection point am I missing?
Does it somehow connect to the lower radiator support?

Thanks,

Kevin

I think you pretty much have it. Take it off wit hthe grille to be able to get to the back side of the lower grill mounts and not damage the bumper too bad remoceing theose. a row of scews along the bottom to the lower splash sield and the inner liners and thats all there is . Loosen the bolts to fender . it rather floats on the inner absorber with the grill aligning it from side to side
