Ignition coil

I have ordered an ignition coil online and I purchased one from AutoZone locally neither one will fit my 2004 although both places said that the coil was for my 2004. I only need one not the entire set of course the dealer wants me to buy A4 pack for $350. Has anyone had this problem that can offer a suggestion. Thank you

Part numbers help. Hard to give advise if we don't know what you ordered previously that was incorrect. Try GMPartsgiant.com or GMpartsdirect.com, both have GM parts at discounted pricing. I found the part # as 89017778. Try this link.

Ignition Coil

Thank you this was a major help the part number was right on point. Let it be known that although you can purchase a single coil that states it will fit your XLR it will not. GM designed the XLR coil to be replaced as a four pack system. I believe I'm saying that properly I'm learning a lot with this vehicle. But I still love the heck out of it. This forum has been a tremendous help whoever came up with it thank you
