Help! Mass air Flow Sensor?

I removed all of the stock intake apparatus and cleaned it all up, including servicing the K&N filters.
Now I'm getting the "Check Engine" symbol.
I checked the filters, but there was no excess "Oil" found, either in the filters themselves or the intake parts....
Did I do something wrong or is there a way to reset it??

John,Yes, you probably got oil on the air flow sensor, but you cannot wipe it off. unscrew it from the intake and you must use carburetor cleaner to lightly spray both sides of it and then let it air dry, this should remove the oil. Don't wipe it or touch it. If you have too much oil on your filters it will probably happen again. I never use the cleaner for my Volant filters for fear of having that happen, I just order new filters from summitracing.com, they have the best prices by far.

MAF Issues

John, my latest CEL issue turned out to be a MAF problem, but it also could have indicated a leak in the intake system. Since you didn't have the problem before your working on the intake, maybe it'd be a good idea to double-check your work to make sure it all went back together as designed.
