When I stop and put the car in park (I have driver 1 fob in my pocket), I have to hit the door unlock button in order for the door to open. When my wife drives, on the other hand, (using fob 2) she does not have to hit the unlock button. I changed batteries in my fob and it made no difference. Any ideas? It's such a minor problem, I may just live with it.

Re-set your FOB 1 preferences.

Option setting. Change auto-unlock setting via dash display.

Then why would it work with driver 2 fob and not with driver 1 fob?
Many of the settings, like the radio presets, EQ settings, etc., are driver number (FOB#) sensitive. They may be different depending on which FOB was used to start the car.

What I don't know is if you need to re-teach the setting with the button on the seat to make the changes permanent. I am the only one who drives mine. I sometimes grab a different FOB and noticed that more than wheel, seat and mirror positions were different.

Let us know how it goes.

My fob #1 needed a new battery this weekend. Also needed to re-program the thing so I could fit into the seat. For some reason it insisted on setting itself
to accommodate Photo Girl and stubbornly fought to keep it that way. Not sure I will ever get my XLR back completely......

Thanks Phrede... I should have known that. Reset the settings for Fob 1, everything is almost right with the world again.
Was driving this afternoon and found both the drivers and inside mirror seem to be locked in the darkened position, like there's a car behind me with bright lights on. But this is during the daytime.

Hmmm, the mirror thing is odd. Is it still that way after shutting down, let sit, restart? Sometimes, I think mine gets a brain cramp where a Gremlin takes over and does strange things. Cycle the power and it's OK. Maybe this is one of those times.

It did this on the way back from Big Sky, stopped in Bozeman for gas, continued all the way home, another 2 hours. Then parked, unloaded the car, and went to Costco about 2 hours later, and it was still that way. Not a big deal, just a little annoying having to really look in the mirror instead of simply glancing...

You are much more tolerant than I. Things like that eat at me. I know, I know. I'm working on it. Hope you get it figured out soon.

You can deactivate the day/night feature of the mirror just by hitting the button on the rearview mirror (I believe it is the circle/line button). That should keep it at it's brightest - at least helps during the daytime and dusk periods.

So glad to hear you out and about, Rod - keep up the wonderful recovery!!
