On my 2004 xlr I got the no fob detected message.Replacing the fob battery didnt work. Placed fob in slot glove box and car still would not start. Decided to reprogram fob. When i activated system by turning key 5 times, when i push the stop button to initiate 10 minute count down, the display says “no fob detected” and then it starts the 10 minute count down. In the procedure i was following its says nothing about getting a display of “no fob detected” at the point. I am wondering if the system still doesnt detect my fob even in the slot in the glove box . Can any one give me some help . I have had the car about a year with one problem after another.
