2006 Silver XLR-V
When my 06 XLR-V idles... the oil pressure gauge reads 40 (about the middle).

When I rev the engine at 3k rpm or so and hold it, the gauge reads about 80. (almost pegged).

Does everyone else's do the same thing? Or is this just what my V does?

Those are normal readings.

I actually just took it for a drive again, and it seems if I keep the tach at about 3.5k rpm its about 60-something... not totally at 80...

But if it sounds normal, then thats great.

:rocker:

I've noticed it on my XLR as well. Especially when first started and cold, it stays up in that 60 - 75 range. As it warms up it settles back down in the 40s unless I step on it. Seemed a little high to me, but it's consistent, so I assume all is OK.
