Power Steering Pump replacement

I'm getting ready to replace my power steering pump and pressure hose. Any pointers or guidance. It doesn't look like it's going to be any fun at all.

How difficult a job did you find replacing the high pressure hose? Wife and I drove up to New Orleans to spend the holidays with family and the X is leaving ps fluid like crazy where the metal pipe meets the hose on my line. Appreciate any advice and pointers myself.
