How do you remove the rear view mirror on a 2006?

I just want to bring it down to get to it's power source so I can hook up a radar detector

Off with the rear view mirror ?

"IF" the rear view mirror is the same system used in a C6 Corvette,,,,,grab a hold of the mirror firmly,,,,twist 1/4 turn counter-clockwise and it will pop out and off.

The electrical wires are on a connector that just comes out with a push-down on the tab.

Hopefully not ,,,if a windshield was replaced by a dork installer who broke something,,,,, and didn't glue the mirror back into place when they broke or bent the 3 pins
[ maybe that is why you can't move it ?? ]
