My GTO was invited to participate in the 2015 Trump Charlotte Concours d'Elegance.
It was in the "American Musclecar" category and the class was limited to eight entries. The other entries were a 1967 Shelby GT350, a 1967 Shelby GT500, a 1968 Ford T5 Export Mustang, a 1969 Mercury Cyclone Dan Gurney Special (owned by Ray Evernham), a 1969 Camaro Convertible, a 1969 Dodge Charger 500 Hemi and a 1969 Camaro COPO.
The Mercury Cyclone took third place, my GTO took second and the Hemi Charger took first.
Does anyone recognize the gentleman in the picture with me and my GTO?
You can see the Charger and one of the Shelby Mustangs in the background.
To the left, you can see the Mercury that took Third place.
