And the result is ...
Is the problem. The brakes turned out to be fine, it was just me - used to softer brakes on the cars I drive more regularly (let the jokes begin!).
However, my complaint served the useful purpose of giving Mike an excuse to move up getting the calipers powder coated, replacing brake pads, etc., which he really wanted to do before BG anyway. So, now there will be an additional display of work by thepowdercoater.com at BG. And I'm happy the stock brake pads are gone because they put out more brake dust than ANYTHING I've seen in a long time (maybe ever).
