It's been in the 60s... An unusually warm Winter helped the decision to get the XLR out of storage...

Is it just me or does music sound better at XX MPH in an XLR, on the interstate??

It's not you or a phenomenon, just a fact. Should be in the 70's here in Richmond.....might get a chance to drop the top and crank up the tunes.

Still in the 40's and 50's here... not quite warm enough for me in the XLR, yet. Snow may still be coming and there is still ice on the streets... :(:(

comfort zone I believe you are short one x on your mph description.

:blinzel:

Living in the Carolinas, you can drive your XLR year-round. Consider that this has been a very mild winter (so far), it's been even better than normal.

One of the many things that I love about the XLR is that to me, it's 2 great cars in one. As much fun as it is to drive with the top down, to me it's a fabulous coupe as well! The character of the car is so different with the top up as opposed to when the top is down.

I have a tendency to drive the car in a conservative manner, because I know there's no way I'm going to talk a state trooper out of a ticket if you're driving an XLR! I tend to drive even more conservatively with the top down.

But the feel of the car as a coupe is completely different to me. The stereo sounds great, and I feel like I'm more able to focus on what the car can really do.

An XLR is really a bargain, you get a great roadster and a fabulous coupe for one price!

Agreed... although I haven't had ANY trouble talking my way out of a ticket. Did it twice on the way back from San Antonio a few years back!!
Wasn't too difficult at all... the troopers seemd to rather enjoy pulling me over - just to see the car closer up! Course, I was going only about 15-20 MPH over the limit... would have probably been a different outcome had I been going faster.
