Hi There,I know I'm asking a lot however,I want an XLR preferably 05 or newer.Silver,gray or black, almost anything but red.Must have black or gray interior.Less than 60K miles.Clean Carfax,meaning no accidents,1 or 2 previous owners.South East US..SC,NC,TN,GA.FL. Somewhere about $20K...Email hbugsyc@Hotmail.com.....Thank You.

Gotta use positive thinking!!.....About a year ago,there was an 04 here locally.I went and looked her over and drove it.I felt as though there might have been an issue with the tranny.Red with shale interior.There was a scratch on the roof and the interior was a little shabby.I don't like that color combo but,I went to look anyway.The owner had already bought a new Mercedes and was determined to sell.He was asking 21K...I called him and told him I wasn't going ahead with the deal...His response was "the local Cadillac dealer would give him 15K "and he would give it to me for the same 15K.I foolishly declined and regret it still.I should have bought it if only to flip it..BTW 56000 miles..So,I'm still looking even though I've bought a new car since...Also about 20K means 18-25...There are several good candidates currently onEBAY...Check it out.

There's always a diamond in the rough but at 15 k to 20k there is no doubt that you could double your money as a parts car alone that's why everyone that owns a junkyard is rich good luck though. jerz

My apologies to the recycling center owners no disrespect that's what they were when I was young also when needed headlights or tail lights for whatever reason due to an accident and you go to your insurance company they will total the car for parts because parts are unavailable they will pay you they will take the vehicle and goes to our friendly recycling center with very friendly people that are there to help you LOL. jerz

We found our our bluebeast on local Craigslist. Never know what you might turn up. Keep looking. Don't lock yourself out because of preconceived ideas. You might just stumble across the perfect match for you! Good luck!

They're out there

I've been looking a long time and I've seen some out there.Ofcourse the obvious places like cargurus,auto trader etc.Ebay always has a few for sale.Here's one..Access Denied would be a special car for me.I have several others for day to day stuff. The XLR would be an investment,car show and special occasion vehicle.
I'll keep looking till I find THE one...I posted here just incase my timing was right to find a jewel...Thanks all.
 
2005 XLR for sale

I have a 2005 XLR for sale. 7,000 miles. I am the second owner. It had 5,000 0n it when I bought it last year. Previously owned by a collector. It's silver with black interior. Literally like new. This is truly the diamond you are looking for.

My post are my opinions I'm sure many things have been said that others do not like I am just basically telling my opinion if that is a rule that people don't like being challenged or asked for further info on something posted that's on them I have never been derogatory or hurtful on this site as a member of a few years I am an owner of an 06 V if I ruffled feathers all the better that's what makes a site great I'm not sorry I will not retract it's my opinion only have a great day figure it out. jerz...

Are you still looking for a XLR Cadillac, I live in Indiana 2005 Platinum asking $25,000.oo as of today it has 53,000 miles on it, weather still good up and still enjoying it, Good shape and runs great.
