Help! XLR_V wanted

I'm looking to purchase a XLR-V and I have a couple of questions.

1. What were the production years?
2. Where can I find a color chart by year?
3. What is the best production year with the least problems?


I just purchased the CTS-V wagon. I love it.

Production years: 2006 - 2009

Colors: Look at the XLR Registry and the Tech Center

Colors are mostly black, black, black (lots of them made in black), red, silver, & white ('08 only). A few '09's in black cherry.

Not sure any one year has more or less problems than others. By the time they started making the V's they were past working out the kinks in the '04-05 years.

Your bigger issue is just going to be finding one in good shape with low miles (if that's what you want) since there were less than 2000 made. Took us about 6 months & that was a few years ago.

V wagons too are rare but more recent so a little easier to find.
